Meet Diane, our resident numbers geek and Xero enthusiast! With a degree in Pure Mathematics and a Chartered Accountant qualification from KPMG in 1999, Diane’s love for numbers is evident. She became a Fellow of the Institute (FCA) in 2011, solidifying her expertise.

Diane’s career journey includes project management and CFO roles in banking and fund administration, as well as general audit work. She took a career break to raise her young children and then founded de garis accounting and DNA. Diane brings a refreshingly personal and caring attitude to accountancy services in Guernsey, aiming to provide top-notch customer and business care to individuals and businesses on the island.

Having worked with various accounting systems, Diane quickly realised that Xero is indeed beautiful accounting software. As a Xero expert and certified advisor since 2015, she has helped set up hundreds of businesses on Xero. Diane is passionate about cloud accounting and the transformative impact it can have on small businesses. Xero is always the starting point of that journey or app stack.

But don’t just talk numbers or Xero with Diane unless you’re ready for a passionate conversation – she’s truly a geek at heart!

On a more personal note, Diane is married to Rick and they have two children. She loves swimming in the sea and family adventures, especially exploring in their motorhome!

Beyond her love for numbers and family, Diane is passionate about business. She served as President of the Chamber for two years and has made it her mission to improve payment platforms and business banking for Guernsey businesses.
